Finally. . . .

Brad and I finally finished the babies room. We weren't going to paint it but Tom (Brad's Dad) said we have to :) so I (being the genius that I am) decided I wanted stripes. Although it turned out GREAT, I would not wish this upon anyone. If you want stripes, pay a professional. It was a long process of which I took some pictures so enjoy :). (There are not pics of everyday but there is an explanation).

Day 1 - Drawing straight lines. Now this doesn't seem like a hard task but let me tell you it is quite difficult. It took a level and a couple tries and ALL day. (Sorry, you can barely see the lines).

Day 2 - Taping the first set of lines, the floorboard, and the ceiling. Then Painting the first set of lines. (There is one of Brad starting to paint and one of the finished product for the evening.

Day 3 - Brad was going to tape the second set of lines and start painting but instead he got really sick with a fever :(. So when I got home from work I taped the second set of lines. ( I don't have a picture of this).

Day 4 - Painting the second set of lines. (Sorry again no Pics)

Day 5 - Take off tape and/or touch up big mistakes. (There is still some tape up because the misses/mistakes needed the tape to remain).

Day 6 - Touch up along the lines (some of the paint leaked under the tape because the walls are textured, not flat).

Day 7 - remove tape from ceiling and touch up ceiling (paint leaked there too, plus I painted accidentally in places too. . . oops)

Day 8 (Final Day) - take of remaining tape and touch up floor boards! Here are Pics of the finished product!
