Long Time

Yet again it has been a long time since I have posted. Not too much has happened in the last 2 months or so. I have just been working and trying to find things to do to make the months go be faster, to meet this new baby girl (who, by they way, we have decided to name Trinity Ava Koch). I am down to my last 8 weeks and the time seems to move extra slow in the last trimester. I forgot this from the last pregnancy. . . .

Braylee has started taking a tumbling class which she LOVES and is getting quite good at as well. She can do sommersaults by herself now and is also quite good at jumping on the trampoline and going to the slide of course (the latter 2 are all the kids favorites). Here are some recent pics of her in the class (these are from when Daddy was able to make it :)) I don't have a great camera so all the pics are blurry since she is moving so much.

For some reason I have a lack of pictures from this pregnancy. This is the first picture I have of my pregnant belly and this is at 7 months prego.

Football season has started and this was what Braylee got to wear for week 1 (last week). For all who don't know Brad's favorite team is the Patriots, he is actually in Boston this weekend to see the game live. It is the first time he has been to a Patriots game in Boston and I think on the 2nd time he has ever been to a live Patriots game ever.

Projects

So I am not sure if this is a "nesting" thing or what but I have been working on finally getting some of the things I have been waiting FOREVER to do done. The main thing I am proud to say is almost done (we will have to wait to finish when there is more $$ to spend), our backyard. My WONDERFUL husband and his Dad spent many of Brad's days off getting it all cleaned up and set up for our sidewalk. Then with the help of my dad, brother, brother-in-law, and Brad's friend Moe, they laid the cement for a beatiful sidewalk that Braylee loves! After all that hard work, we paid someone to come in and dig trenches for sprinklers and lay the sod (we wanted it done for the Fourth of July BBQ).

All the stuff on the sides, was cleaned up too by my AMAZING father-in-law, who spent about 4 to 5 hours cleaning it up for us while I was running errands and Brad was at work. Big THANKS to him cuz it looked GREAT!!!!!

Another project I am currently working on is re-upholstering the patio chairs. The current fabric on it was/is worn from 3 years of dirt and sun, as they sat on the patio and we never used them. I cleaned them off a bit for the BBQ but they were pretty much a lost cause so I got some nice upholstery fabric and started the project. I am half way done. Here is a before and after. The before picture doesn't show how bad they really are.

Fourth of July

We hosted a fourth of July BBQ for some friends this year since we just got most of our backyard finished. It was fun to have friends over for some good food and fireworks. Since I am horrible at taking pictures I have a few pictures of Braylee and that is about it. I didn't do so hot at taking pictures of anyone else. Although the party turned out good, I realized it is a lot of work to host the party. First, there are decorations. Then there is the whole thing with cleaning the house (which was a disaster) and of course actually cooking/making the food. Doing all this when I spent the Saturday before in Utah for a Family Reunion (Swapp Meet. . haha) and being 5 months preggers made it a little harder but it was all worth it.

This was my attempt at getting her to do the "model it" pose that her Aunts taught her ......


We bought a pool for her to play in but she seemed to like the sprinklers a whole bunch more.

Fun Visit

Aaron and Ashley came to visit for a couple weeks while Aaron was on break from school with Aubrie and Luke. Braylee and Aubrie just loved having eachother to play with. Everytime they saw eachother, Braylee was really shy and stand-offish at first but would warm up eventually and just follow Aubrie around :) I didn't get too many pictures so I am gonna have to steal a few from Ashley and the others that took pics. Here are the few I got.

It's a GIRL. . . AGAIN!

I have yet to post anything about this pregancy so far. So it is all gonna happen right now. I found out I was pregnant in March which happened to be about the time a group of friends and I were making the plans for our Ragnar Relay that was set for April in California. Turned out to be convenient to know so I could plan accordingly. I was able to run the shorter distances. I was about 10 weeks pregnant when I did this so my time was slower than I wanted it to be but I still finished all three of my legs of the race, which were 6, 2.1, and 5.2 miles. I was pretty happy to be able to do it all :)

This pregnancy was planned. . . .sort of. I stopped birth control in January thinking it would take at least three months to get pregnant but it only took about 5 or 6 weeks. This pregnancy has been quite a bit different from the last so I thought for sure it was a boy. That is not that case! We are having another girl. I am VERY excited. It will save money (since we already have a bunch of girl clothes and shoes and bows and such). Plus I really love all the little girl clothes and bows and dressing up and girly stuff. Brad REALLY wanted a boy but he is happy too. . . or at least will be. haha. We do not have any names as of yet for a girl but we got a little bit of time since the due date isn't until November 12. Although, I am sure that will go by fast as it doesn't feel like I should be 18 weeks already. Here are some pics of the growing baby girl. We call it the Curse of Darwin (my dad) he is destined to be surrounded by women. My parents had one boy (who was first) and 5 girls, then had 3 grand-daughters, before another boy was born. And of course, the only boy in the family had the, so far, only grandson.

Face

This picture makes me laugh. The little thing is already quite stubborn and wouldn't get out of a "ball" position. Here is a side view of her with her feet up right next to her head.


here is another side view of her with her knees tucked into her chest. Because of her stubborness though, we get to go in for another ultrasound in about a month so the ultrasound tech can get the views of her heart that she was unable to get today. thanks baby girl! Can't wait to see you again :)
