Lately

Nothing has really been going on lately, just preparing for the holidays and such. I had a 10K this morning (no pictures) and made my goal of completing it in less than an hour. That isn't really all that fast but it is a VAST improvement in pace from when I first started running again which was an 11:30 min mile. Today I averaged a 9:35 min mile pace so that gave me a 59 min 40 sec. 10K (6.2 miles). The first half of the race was really good. Lots of down hill and flat and I kept about a 9 min pace, then I had to turn around and come back. . . . .which meant lots of up hill and some flat so my pace was about 10 min mile or so. But nonetheless I am really happy with finishing it and didnt walk once even though I REALLY wanted to going up the big hill. I have run 6 miles before this twice and both times it was about an hour or over so I figured I could push myself a little harder and finish the 6.2 in under an hour and was successful.

She loves to sit at the computer so whenever she can, she climbs up in the chair and just sits there. On this particular day she decided to put on Daddy's head phones. Also the picture on the screen is of Sweet Potatoe fries and the recipe and they were DELICIOUS! Skinnytaste.com



Braylee loves playing in her highchair and yesterday she decided to learn to climb into it. We were all in the family room watching TV and Braylee went up to the Kitchen and about a min later when Brad got up to check on her she was in the high chair. It was a bit confusing seeing how the high chair is just that. . . HIGH. So we put the small tray down to defer her from doing it again. Well about 20 min later I was cleaning the kitchen and Brad came to talk to me. Our backs were turned on her no longer than 30 sec and we turn around to see her in the high chair again!!!!! So we wanted to see how she was doing this so we put he on the ground and low and behold here is how she did it (this is the second time we witnessed it. I wanted it on camera so we had her to it again after learning her tricks).


She is fearless which makes Mommy fearful and we now have to put the big tray on the little tray and that DOES stop her from climbing into the chair.
